When you register with viatext, we store your name, zip code and mobile phone number. We use this data only to get a general sense of where our users come from, so that we may continue to improve the viatext experience for you. We do not and will not sell or share your personal data, except as required by law.

When you send a message to viatext, we log your phone number. We do not and will not rent or sell your phone number to anyone, and furthermore, we will not use your phone number to initiate a call or text message to you without your permission. We may, however, use your area code (and only your area code) to give a listing author a sense of where the author's leads originate. Please note that your wireless carrier and other service providers also collect data about your SMS/text message usage, and their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
